We pride ourselves on delivering a compassionate and professional service while achieving the best possible outcomes. We have an enviable reputation for high quality complex work and are proud to be ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partner directories.

The Role
We are recruiting Paralegals to join our growing Compensation Division, based in either Hull or York. The team focuses on complex, high value serious injury and medical negligence claims together with providing help and support to individuals suffering life-changing injuries.
You will work closely with experienced lawyers and be supported through structured training and day‑to‑day guidance. As your experience develops, you will take responsibility for aspects of your own cases, always with appropriate supervision and support.
This role would suit a law graduate with a strong interest in life‑changing injury work, or an experienced clinical negligence or personal injury paralegal looking to take the next step in a people‑focused practice.
Duties will be varied, but may include:
- Supporting fee earners on complex, challenging and high value cases
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence, including witness statements
- Preparing and maintaining case files
- Preparing court bundles
- Liaising with clients and third parties both in person and by telephone
- Using our case management systems to progress matters and accurately record work undertaken
The Successful Candidate
We are looking for someone who brings care, professionalism and attention to detail, and who can demonstrate:
- An LLB or equivalent qualification, with a clear interest in pursuing a legal career
- Experience in clinical negligence or personal injury (helpful, but not essential)
- Strong IT skills and confidence using case management systems (training will be provided)
- Clear and accurate written and verbal communication
- A professional, self‑motivated and commercially aware approach
- An empathetic manner and a commitment to delivering excellent client care
- Outstanding attention to detail
- A flexible, proactive and positive mindset
The Offer
In return we offer:
- A competitive salary and additional benefits
- The opportunity to share in the firm’s success through team and firm-wide reward schemes
- Excellent training and development, including the potential to progress onto a training contract and further develop your career through our career progression framework
- A supportive and inclusive working environment, with opportunities to connect through firm social events
