Your new job

The Graduate engineer will work in a team of engineers responsible for developing engineering solutions and concepts for a wide variety of projects including heavy lift and transport operations. The graduate engineer will report directly to the Senior Project Engineer.

The successful candidate will be a motivated individual with strong mechanical knowledge, ready to thrive in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. They will have a degree in a relevant field of engineering (mechanical-civil-structural), with proven knowledge and experience of MS Office and AutoCAD (or similar software packages) and will hold a valid UK driving license.

 

The Graduate Engineer will be able to:

·         Create innovative engineering solutions that support sales and tendering activities

·         Develop and apply structural calculations to assess, select and validate operational approaches

·         Use creative problem solving and forward thinking to design solutions that meet client needs while adhering to the highest standards

·         Build strong relationships by collaborating with internal teams and engaging directly with clients on-site

·         Get involved with projects from concept through to execution, applying sound engineering principles every step of the way

·         Champion high standards by ensuring all decisions align with HSEQ policies and best practices

 

What you’ll need to succeed

·         A relevant degree (minimum 2:2) in Mechanical, Structural, Civil or Construction Engineering

·         Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to produce clear and professional documentation

·         Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

·         A collaborative team player who understands team dynamics and contributes with a positive, professional attitude

·         A keen eye for detail, with a high level of accuracy in all work undertaken
