Role Overview
To support young people and vulnerable adults who have been detained by the police at one of the named police custody suites above, ensuring we are acting in the best interests of the detainee.

Can you arrive at Runcorn Custody Suite, Manor Farm, WA7 1TD, Middlewich Custody Suite, Pochin Way, CW10 0GY, Chester (Blacon) Custody Suite, Blacon Avenue CH1 5BD Custody Suite within 20/30 minutes?

If the answer is Yes to either of these questions, then this could be the role for you.

About the role

Our Appropriate Adults come from all walks of life and we are always looking for more to join our team. We are looking for people who are caring and compassionate with excellent communication skills whilst supporting the most vulnerable within a custody environment. The main purpose of the role is to support young people and vulnerable adults who have been detained by the police at your local custody suite, ensuring we are acting in the best interests of the detainee.

Hours of work:

Evenings, Overnight and Weekends

Sessional, Hourly Paid

Pattern of Work:

No set pattern. This is a sessional role to meet the requirements of the Custody sites with no guarantee of hours.

Attendance may be required during the day, evening or weekend.

Rota system in place.

Salary:

£13.45 plus holiday pay 12.07% (0600 hours to 2100 hours)

£14.97 plus holiday pay 12.07% (2100 hours to 0000 hours)

£20.32 plus holiday pay 12.07% (0000 hours to 0600 hours)
