We are looking for a creative Researcher to support an exciting football themed YouTube quiz show, on a fixed - term basis to help shape it from the ground up. You’ll play a key role in building the format by sourcing and fact checking content, developing quiz questions and ideas, plus researching and briefing celebrity guests and contributors.

 What You’ll Be Doing

• Researching, writing and developing engaging quiz questions, ensuring accuracy through robust fact checking using reliable sports sources.
• Preparing rundowns, fact sheets and presenter notes with relevant context and insights.
• Monitoring football news and trends to keep content timely, relevant and audience driven.
• Collaborating with producers, talent and editors to shape content, scripting and overall show flow.
• Researching, briefing and supporting talent and contributors, including sourcing, casting and vetting football fans.
• Managing the question bank and pitching ideas for quiz rounds, formats and wider content development.

As a fast moving production environment, you may also support across other projects and priorities where needed.

Who you are

• We'd love you to have experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of football and the wider sports landscape.
• A confident researcher with excellent fact checking skills and attention to detail.
• A clear, engaging writer, able to craft compelling quiz questions in an entertainment tone.
• Proactive, hands on and collaborative, with strong communication and critical thinking.
• Digitally aware, with a strong understanding of what audiences engage with.
• Passionate about the evolving media landscape, comfortable working with data, archives and online tools.
