The Role
We are looking to recruit a Commercial Paralegal to join our growing Commercial Division in York. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a law graduate or aspiring legal professional to take their first step in a legal career.

You will work closely with experienced solicitors and gain hands-on exposure to a broad range of commercial legal services, supported by structured training to develop your knowledge and skills.

Key responsibilities may include
•    Providing high-quality support to the Commercial team across Commercial Property, Company Commercial, and Private Client matters
•    Completing file opening and closing procedures, along with other compliance-related tasks
•    Liaising with clients and third parties, both face-to-face and by telephone
•    Drafting legal documents and correspondence
•    Conducting legal research and collating information
•    Using our case management systems to progress matters and accurately record work undertaken

The Successful Candidate
We are looking for someone who brings professionalism and attention to detail, and who can demonstrate: 
•    An LLB or equivalent qualification, with a clear interest in pursuing a legal career 
•    Experience in a similar or administrative role (helpful, but not essential) 
•    Strong IT skills and confidence using case management systems (training will be provided)
•    Clear and accurate written and verbal communication
•    A professional, self‑motivated and commercially aware approach
•    Outstanding attention to detail
•    A flexible, proactive and positive mindset
