Description

Role:

As a Palletiser, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of DELI LITES’ award-winning food products. You will be responsible for ensuring products are accurately palletised, handled safely, and prepared to the highest quality standards for distribution.

This role exists to support the smooth operation of the logistics function, ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently while maintaining food safety, quality, and operational standards.

You will contribute to the business by helping deliver exceptional service to customers and reflecting DELI LITES’ core values of quality, legality, and authenticity in all aspects of your work.

Your Duties:

  • Accurately palletise and prepare finished products for distribution and dispatch.
  • Ensure pallets are built safely, securely, and in accordance with company standards.
  • Carry out stock rotation activities to minimise waste and support inventory accuracy.
  • Handle products carefully and maintain product integrity throughout the palletising process.
  • Work within chilled production and storage environments while adhering to food safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times.
  • Report any product quality, stock, equipment, or operational issues promptly to the relevant supervisor.
  • Follow all company Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily operational and dispatch targets.
  • Carry out any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by your Line Manager.

Desired Criteria:

  • Previous food handling experience.
  • Manual handling training.
  • Experience working within a warehouse, logistics, or food production environment.
  • Experience working in chilled or cold environments.
  • Experience of palletising or stock handling processes.
