Are you organised, hands-on, and ready to play a vital role behind the scenes of an airline operation?

We are recruiting for a new Stores Assistant to be at the centre of our engineering support operation.

What you’ll be doing

As part of our Engineering Stores team, you’ll support the smooth operation of our aircraft fleet by managing aircraft spares, deliveries, repairs, and logistics activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Controlling and issuing aircraft spares to Engineers and Technicians
  • Managing stock within the OASES stores system
  • Receiving deliveries and accurately booking parts into stock
  • Ensuring all parts meet acceptance and compliance standards
  • Maintaining databases for receipts, repairs, and stock movements
  • Packing and shipping aircraft components for repair
  • Collecting and delivering freight to and from airport freight sheds
  • Coordinating urgent Aircraft on Ground (AOG) orders with suppliers
  • Identifying the fastest and most effective delivery routes to Guernsey from the UK and worldwide
  • Supporting stock accuracy and maintaining adequate inventory levels at all times

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced operational environment and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in stores, logistics, purchasing, or material handling
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Good IT skills, including Office365 and inventory systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, adaptable approach to work
  • Knowledge of shipping, customs, or freight processes
  • A focus on quality, safety, and customer service
  • A full driving licence (forklift experience would be an advantage)

Additional requirements

To obtain an Airside Pass for Guernsey Airport, successful candidates must be able to provide:

  • A full 5-year employment history
  • A satisfactory Basic Police Disclosure
  • A full driving licence
