Jersey Hospice Care is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Chef to join our Catering Team and help deliver exceptional dining experiences for our patients, families, staff, volunteers, and visitors.Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our catering service, ensuring the delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals that contribute to the comfort, wellbeing, and care of those we support.

The ideal candidate will assist in all aspects of the catering operation, helping to provide a varied range of wholesome and appetising meals tailored to meet individual dietary requirements.

Working collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider team to maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service. In the absence of the Head Chef, the post holder will share responsibility for leading the kitchen operation alongside fellow chefs, ensuring continuity of service and a positive working environment.

The post holder will also contribute to supplier management and stock control, supporting the delivery of excellent value while maintaining the quality standards expected at Jersey Hospice Care.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Food Production & Cooking or an equivalent catering qualification, a current Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 minimum) and have experience as a Chef or Sous Chef.
